Both sides have had an emotional day at White Hart Lane earlier today when Tottenham rallied to a 2-0 victory over local rivals Arsenal. This victory secured Tottenham a guaranteed finish above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years. Also to Arsenal’s dismay, Spurs have tightened the gap between them and Chelsea to four points, both teams eager for a Premier League title.

The match started off with both sides playing extremely well, both sides playing an excellent counter attacking game. Going into half time at 0-0, it could’ve turned out to be anyone’s game. However, a goal from Dele Alli and a pentalty for Spurs lead Arsenal to a shocking defeat.

The final North London Derby at White Hart Lane opened up with a second half Dele Alli goal. Bamboozling the Arsenal defense, Alli found his way to an open net and put the ball past Petr Cech. Then within just minutes, a penalty given against Koscielny allowed for Harry Kane to put his 18th goal against Arsenal.

Arsenal now sit sixth with just 60 points while Spurs flourish at second with 77 points. Tottenham next play West Ham at London Stadium on 5 May and Arsenal next play Manchester United at The Emirates on 7 May.
